BCIT offers business students the opportunity to complete a bachelor or masters degree in partnership with our international partner institutions. The following schools and universities accept credit and advanced placement for students that have completed a BCIT diploma or degree.

International Masters Degree Programs

Students that complete the BCIT Graduate Certificate in Global Leadership may enter the following masters programs:

Coventry University (London, England)
Master of Business Administration in either Global Business or Marketing or Human Resources
Complete the program in one year

Fondazione CUOA (Vicenza, Italy)
International Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Complete the program in one year

Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences (Weingarten, Germany)
Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business Management
Complete the program in one year

Rikkyo University (Tokyo, Japan)
Master in International Business (MIB)
Complete the program in one year

Ecole de Management Leonard de Vinci (Paris, France)
Master of Science in International Business (MSc)
Complete the program in one year

International Bachelor Degree Programs

Students that complete a two year BCIT diploma may receive advanced placement or course credit in the following bachelor degree programs:

British Columbia Institute of Technology
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
Complete the program in two semesters

Bachelor of Accounting (BAcc)
Complete the program in two semesters

University of Gloucestershire (England)
Bachelor of Science in Computer Games Design
Requires completion of the BCIT 3D Modeling, Art, and Animation diploma
Entry into the second year (Level 5) of the three year program

Bachelor of Science in Computing Technologies
Requires completion of the BCIT Digital Design and Development diploma
Entry into the second year (Level 5) of the three year program

University of Northampton (England)
Bachelor of Arts in Travel and Tourism Management
Requires completion of the BCIT Tourism Management diploma

Graduate degree options

BCIT offers business graduates the opportunity to earn a graduate degree with one of our international partner institutions. BCIT Bachelor degree grads who wish to engage in graduate studies abroad are eligible to apply. The School of Business will assist BBA and Bachelor of Accounting grads in applying to graduate programs in other countries. Students should note that graduate admission requirements vary across institutes and applicants are subject to each institute’s admission criteria.

University of Applied Sciences bfi Vienna

The Master’s degree in International Banking and Finance at UAS bfi Vienna provides students with advanced skills and knowledge in international banking and finance.

This program is available to students in BCIT BBA, Bachelor of Accounting, or Global Business Studies Certificate program.

Program information:

  • Academic graduate degree: Master of Arts in Business, MA
  • Duration: three semesters with classes held three evenings per week plus Saturdays
  • Language of instruction: English
  • Tuition fee for BCIT graduates:365 EUR per semester plus a €17 EUR Austrian Student Union Fee
  • Admission procedure: admission test and presentation at the BCIT campus
  • Application deadline: March 1

University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria, Steyr

The Master’s degree in Global Sales and Marketing at UASUA – Styer provides the advanced skills necessary for an international business career.

This program is available to students in the BCIT BBA or the Global Business Studies Certificate program.

Program information:

  • Academic graduate degree: Master of Arts in Business, MA
  • Duration: four semesters
  • Language of instruction: English
  • Tuition fee for BCIT graduates: free
  • Admission procedure: recommendation by the BBA Program Head
  • Application deadline: January 31, March 31, and June 30
