Increase your cross-cultural understanding and make connections across different continents through the global connect program. Connect with a new student each month while you study at BCIT. By participating, you will be equipped with a better understanding of different cultures through the interactions you have each month with a different student match. As a student taking part in this program, you will exchange your study and cultural experiences with other students across the globe and develop your own unique international student network.
How the program works
Upon registration in September, each month will have you:
- Matched with a new international partner peer
- Receiving an introductory email from the Global Relations office between you and your match
- Conducting a virtual meeting between 15-30 mins, with provided ice breakers
At the end of the program, you can expect to have made numerous connections and you will complete an evaluation form in May.
