At the BCIT School of Business + Media, we believe that having an international profile is valuable. Facilitating global relationships and partnerships are key in today’s business world, and companies are actively looking for employees who speak multiple languages, manage culturally-diverse teams, hold international work experience, and bridge cultural differences. That’s why we offer several international programs for our students, faculty, and staff.

Taking part in an international experience not only looks good on your resume, it broadens your perspective on life. Our global learning opportunities allow you to experience different countries and cultures that can be a meaningful and life-changing experience.

Are you an international student?

We’re thrilled that you’re thinking about coming to BCIT for your semester abroad! Vancouver is a world-class city surrounded by mountains and the sea. Voted the most liveable city five times, Vancouver has a mild climate that allows you to enjoy a walk downtown, go skiing in the mountains, or spend a day at one of the many beaches at nearly anytime of the year.

If you are an international student from one of our Partner Universities, you can study at BCIT Business + Media as an Exchange Student. If there is no exchange agreement between BCIT and your home institution, you can apply as a Study Abroad Student instead.

Are you a BCIT student?

Enhance your education and stand out among your peers by gaining an international experience. BCIT Business + Media offers a wide variety of opportunities for BCIT students through Global Relations; and they don’t require any extra time to your schooling!

Choose from over 15 countries around the world to spend an Exchange Term abroad at one of our Partner Universities, apply for a Double Degree with an international business school, participate in a Summer Field School, or to finish your degree abroad through International Degree Completion.
