Whether you plan to declare for a Flexible Learning program or study self-paced, you can find the cost for your course by searching in our online course catalogue.

Fees for Flexible Learning

The cost of a Flexible Learning program is the total of individual course fees.

Course fees appear with information for each course offering, as in the following example:

In some cases, you may see a slightly higher tuition fee at the Burnaby Campus than the other campuses (Downtown, BMC, ATC) for multiple course offerings. This is reflective of a Student Association Student Centre Building fee, passed through a 2017 BCIT Student Association referendum.

Differential tuition rate apply for international students. Please review international fees for Flexible Learning.

Tuition increases

Each year BC post-secondary institutions may raise tuition by 2 per cent. Please see the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills’ Tuition Limit Policy for more information.

Full-time studies courses taken on a part-time basis

Even though you’re studying on a part-time basis, you may be able to enrol in a course that is part of a full-time program. The tuition for the course is calculated by the number of credits multiplied by the amount per credit. Additional BCIT ancillary fees and BCITSA fees will apply.
