Estimate your Full-Time Tuition and Fees
You can view or print the estimate cost for your chosen full-time program using the Tuition Estimator tool; see estimated tuition and fees for the entire program, and broken down by term.
With hands-on apprenticeship training at BCIT, you can offset tuition and related fees because you’re learning while you’re working.
Tuition increases
Each year BC post-secondary institutions may raise tuition by 2 per cent. In April each year, BCIT posts the new rates that take effect on August 1. If you pay your tuition prior to April using the old rates, you are required to pay the difference within 10 business days from the start of your program. Please see the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills’ Tuition Limit Policy for more information.

Paying for apprenticeship training
Once you register and pay your $200.00 commitment fee, BCIT will reserve your seat in your apprentice training program. Your commitment fee can be paid directly to BCIT by credit card. The balance of your tuition is due, in full, 60 days before the start of your program.
Although you can pay your $200 deposit with a credit card, the remaining balance must be paid using one of the following methods:
- Debit card (in person only)
- Cheque or money order payable to BCIT – please include your BCIT ID (student number)
- Online banking (bill payment) through your financial institution using BCIT – Tuition as the payee
If paying by online banking, please use your BCIT ID (student number) as your account number. Please allow up to 3 business days for online bill payments to be posted to your account.
Note: If your employer is sponsoring your training costs, have your employer contact BCIT Apprentice Services.
