The BCIT Summer Field School is a unique opportunity to engage in an international learning experience over the summer. Traveling with a cohort of peers, the Field School program combines academic lectures held by BCIT instructors with insightful company visits and enriching cultural activities at exciting international destinations. This immersive program gives you the opportunity to receive credits for academic courses, learn about international business practices, gain valuable international perspectives, develop cultural awareness, and build lifelong connections, all while broadening your global network and academic experience.

Italy
Dates: June 26 – July 9, 2025
Cities: Florence, Bologna, Trieste
Company visits: Leica, Ducati, SMEG S.p.A, McArthur Glen Outlet, Chiarli Winery, Bulgari, Nonino Distillatori, Pagani, Illy Caffè
Cultural visits: City walking tours, UNIBO, wine tasting

How to apply
- Application: Complete the below online application form by January 15 (Early bird application deadline is November 15). Email a one-page letter of intent stating why you want to participate in the field school to sobiep@bcit.ca.
- Personal Interview: Eligible applicants will be invited for an in-person or online interview within 5 business days of applying.
