How we decide
Dr. Stefan Lukits, Mathematics Department, had his work on decision geometry published in the European Journal for Philosophy of Science. The work addresses how people and AI might update beliefs after receiving new evidence.
Dr. Lukits compares the geometrical and information theory approaches, and argues that information theory offers a better model. In this time of belief polarization, the work is relevant to how public health can build broad support for initiatives
