Prerequisites for LIBS 7XXX-level courses are: BCIT ENGL 1177, or 6 credits BCIT Communication at 1100-level or above, or 3 credits of a university/college first-year social science or humanities course.

Note:

First-year courses do not qualify as a LIBS 7000-level credit towards BCIT degree programs. They are prerequisite courses. (First-year courses may be used for General Education courses in some programs. Please consult with your program area or the Liberal Studies Program Head.)
