SSEM Storefront
The SSEM Storefront portal within the Cherwell Service Management site provides a streamlined approach to service delivery. Visit and bookmark BCIT.ca/ssemhelp if you are authorized to submit requests for your department or school.
CCTV is installed and monitored at all campuses to enhance public safety, prevent and deter crime, and to protect the BCIT community members, facilities, and assets.
Access control, intrusion detection, and panic alarms are installed in various areas across campuses to enhance safety and security. Departments may request a site review of their working area to determine security needs.
Departments which request the installation of electronic security hardware are responsible for the initial installation costs. Once installed, SSEM is responsible for the administration of the device including monitoring, maintenance, and renewal as required.
