Returnable Loans:

Monographs: 4 weeks

All loans are subject to recall

Renewals:

Up to 5 times unless a hold exists for the item

Non-returnable Copies:

Copies from print, e-journals, book chapters, unless licensing restriction applies

Copies delivered by email, or Article Exchange

Media Loans:

Only to BC ELN member libraries through Media Bookings

Not for Loan:

Items in archives, equipment, maps, microfiche, newspapers, periodicals, reference, reserves, software, special collections, standards, and material limited by license agreements

Oversize items at discretion of the library

Copies and loans

Canada:

Consortia libraries as per agreements.

All other Canadian Libraries:

Copies: $10.00 minimum up to 20 pages; $0.20 per additional page Loans: $25.00 per item

International:

Copies: $10.00 minimum up to 20 pages; $0.20 per additional page IFM

Loans: $35 – $50 IFM

Renewals:

No charge

Replacement charges:

Cost of item plus $20 processing charge

Invoices for ILL charges are issued by the BCIT Financial Services department, and are emailed to the libraries
