BCIT is offering customized training for small vessel operators to enhance the technical reliability of their fleet. The on-site training will cover basic and advanced predictive maintenance diagnostic related to vessel machinery, allow early detection of technical issues and increasing fleet utilization.
The process with start with a BCIT staff visiting the customer site to determine vessel engine and equipment type, followed by discussion with customer related training needs. BCIT will then prepare a customized training package to be delivered at the customer site. Completion of this onsite training will allow customer technical team to be better prepared to identify and respond to technical issues and reduce fleet down time.
The course will be spread over 3 weeks (18 hours total). Course template (depending on customer need):
Week 1 – In-class (customer site), 3 hour each day on Tue and Thu
Week 2 – Practical training, 3 hours each day on Tue and Thu
Week 3 – More practical training, 3 hours each day on Tue and Thu
