Overview
The BCIT Canadian Tire Apprenticeship Training Program offers Canadian Tire automotive apprentices advanced automotive training at one of the most highly regarded and sought-after post-secondary institutions in the country. Students will receive a total of 32 weeks of training at the BCIT Burnaby campus, spread out over 8-week intervals at each level of their 4-year apprenticeship journey. Training is provided using the latest service and repair technologies that also include specialized industry-recognized certification courses embedded in the training schedule.
The program is designed to help apprentices develop the skills valued by Canadian Tire Service Centers across the country and fulfills the reputation of Canadian Tire technicians being some of the best trained, highly skilled automotive service technicians in the business. Upon completion of the program graduates will receive Red Seal Certification and a BCIT Diploma of Trades Training.
The BCIT Canadian Tire partnership is also focused on attracting and training the next generation of Canadian Tire automotive technicians, while also providing Canadian Tire Service Centers the ability to meet the growing demand for highly skilled and qualified Red Seal technicians.

The program
The classroom program will include courses in electrical systems, air conditioning systems, fuel systems, driveline, engine mechanical, power train, steering and suspension, brakes, electrical options and accessories, computer operated/assisted systems, truck components and systems and body and trim.
