Overview

Logistics utilizes a Distribution center structure with central receiving, shipping, and distribution processes from the NE09 Building. Most goods are received or shipped through our Central shipping and receiving center. Received goods are distributed by our Logistics group, unless departments have made alternative arrangements for the pick-up of their goods.

The Logistics department will also assist with classroom/meeting room set ups, internal movement of goods and equipment, and the disposal/storage of obsolete/surplus equipment and goods.

Movement of Boxes

It is important when submitting a work request for the movement of material in boxes that all boxes have a lid that’s sealed by tape or attached fasteners and is labeled for the final destination of the inside materials.
