Course Overview
This course is designed to help students develop a strong hands-on understanding of entrepreneurship in relation to business strategy and innovation. Unlike other business courses that concentrate narrowly on a particular function within a business - accounting, finance, marketing, production, human resources, or information systems - TMGT 7135 is a big picture course. It cuts across the whole spectrum of business and management. The focus is the total enterprise - including the industry and competitive environment in which it operates - its long-term direction and strategy, its resources and competitive capabilities, and its prospects for success.
