Course Overview
Stakeholders are varied and numerous in construction. Without some level of understanding of how the management team is addressing their needs, stakeholders have the capacity to affect the outcome of the projects. This course provides a systematic approach and comprehensive examination of internal and external stakeholder groups typical to construction projects. Case studies are utilized to demonstrate the potential impacts of stakeholders on industry projects.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Identify project stakeholders and their interests, in order to anticipate potential problems.
- Explain the levels of influence stakeholder groups will have at a given point in time.
- Demonstrate an understanding of how stakeholder's needs and interests change as the project progresses.
- Analyze and categorize stakeholder groups to allow for efficient communication methods.
- Evaluate potential risks associated with stakeholders and effectively prioritize mitigation measures.
- Develop an extensive stakeholder engagement plan that enables pro-active project management.
