Corporate Services maintains a small inventory of commonly used items as well as storing Institute furniture.
Office supplies are ordered from Staples and are typically delivered the next business day. Contact Strategic Procurement to obtain access to Staples’s online catalogue and order system.
BCIT Inventory
BCIT stocks some commonly used operating supplies for BCIT usage. To request an item from inventory, please login into the BCIT Inventory Store. If you don’t already have an account created, the system will walk you through the process.
To request a new Inventory Store account, please fill out the Service Request form.
Items in the warehouse
The warehouse may have the following furniture:
- tables
- chairs
- desks
- bookcases
- whiteboards
- cork boards
If you know that a particular item is available from the warehouse, fill out a Distribution Request Form [PDF]. If not, send a Purchase Requisition to Purchasing and we will determine warehouse availability or purchase from an outside source.
Coveralls
A preferred/discount price on coveralls and other safety gear has been negotiated with Marks Work Wearhouse. This is available to all registered BCIT students. A comprehensive inventory of “Marks” coveralls will also be available at the Burnaby Bookstore at the same discounted price.
