You can register for your BCIT ID card online.
Your BCIT ID card is your student photo ID card. It gives you access to:
BCIT strives to be a safe environment. Your instructor will explain to you safety procedures and expectations in the first week of class. BCIT has several policies dealing with safety that students should be aware of.
Many trades require safety boots, glasses and gloves, and other materials may be required.
First Aid stations and first aid procedures exist for all campuses. Your instructor will also explain these in the first week.
You can buy your textbooks one month prior to your start date or wait in line on your first day of class.

BCIT expects student to conduct themselves in a manner that is safe, exemplifies academic integrity, and encourages an effective learning environment at all times. This means an environment free of harassment and discrimination, free of violent and threatening behaviour, and free of drug and alcohol misuse (particularly when working with machinery and in labs).
Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action.
BCIT has several policies dealing with expectations and conduct for students, employees, and visitors of BCIT.
Many programs have policies on attendance requirements and lateness. Please clarify these with your instructor if you have any questions.
