Jill of All Trades is a all-day event on April 4, 2024 led by female mentors to inspire young women or those who identify as female in Grades 9 through 12 to pursue careers in the Skilled Trades. Participants will experience a fun-filled day of practical, in-the-shop sessions.
Be ready to see the BCIT facilities, interact with industry professionals, and join a series of workshops in several disciplines: Ironworker, Machinist, Cabinetmaker (Joiner), Motorcycle Technician, Power Engineer, Digital Communications and Wireless Technologies, Sheet Metal, Auto Body and Collision Technician, and Welding.
Safety Information
Participants will be required to wear long pants (no sweatpants, yoga pants, or shorts) and closed-toed shoes – runners or sneakers (no ballet flats, platforms, or sandals of any kind). BCIT will provide safety glasses and toe caps for use in the shops.

Parents/legal guardians are required to complete and submit the media consent and acknowledgement of risk form before the event.
