Once you have chosen a career path, and selected a program, it is essential to identify the program requirements. No need to be discouraged if you lack a prerequisite or require further academic preparation. BCIT offers three programs that can help you pursue your dream career.
- Technology Entry (TE)
The Technology Entry program is designed to assist students in preparing for one of the many BCIT technology programs. This 15-week, full-time program is appropriate for individuals who need to improve their skills in core areas such as communication, mathematics, chemistry and physics in order to meet program prerequisites. The Trades Discovery General program is designed to prepare men and women to successfully enter and complete trades/technical training or seek apprenticeship. Upgrading
At BCIT you can study part-time to make up missing prerequisites and entrance requirements or brush up on subjects such as Math, Physics, Chemistry, English, or Computer Applications. Please check with your individual program for specific entrance requirements.
