Considering a career in Public Works or looking to upgrade your qualifications? BCIT offers a selection of Public Works courses and programs to help you get the skills you need.

Part-time courses

Public Works courses are offered through Part-time Studies. Evening courses are held in classrooms or labs at BCIT’s Burnaby Campus. Classes typically run for 3-hours, one night per week for 6 to 12 consecutive weeks. Programs and courses of interest may be listed in the column on the right. When you click on a program, you can view all of the courses for that program.  Clicking on its current availability will display the status of each course.

Customized training for industry

Public Works employers can arrange for customized content and remote delivery of BCIT’s public works courses and programs, allowing employers to build capacity and provide incentives for staff without incurring travel expenses.
