About the program
The Climate Changemakers Leadership Training Microcredential enables people with a passion and interest in sustainability and climate action to prepare themselves for careers that positively impact people and the planet.
All jobs have the potential to be climate jobs, and this microcredential provides foundational learning to support workers from various backgrounds interested in transitioning into sustainability and climate action careers. This microcredential also meets industry’s growing need for a sustainability and climate-action literate workforce that’s prepared to tackle the shared social and environmental challenges.
Who it’s for
This program welcomes those with diverse backgrounds and lived experiences at any stage of their careers who are looking to apply a sustainability and climate action lens to an existing job or transition to a new job.

Application processing
Ongoing throughout the year.
International applicants
This program is available to international applicants who will complete the program from outside Canada or who currently have a valid status in Canada other than study permit. International applicants accepted into this program are not eligible for a study permit.
Apply to program
Formal application to the microcredential is not required. Upon successful completion of the courses, email the program contact with your full name, student number, and mailing address to be issued a microcredential.
Scheduled Intakes
Ongoing Flexible Learning (Part-time Studies) intakes: January, April, and September.
