BCIT, in partnership with Cisco Systems, offers Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) training. The standardized curriculum provided through Cisco Networking Academy contains both simulator exercises and hands-on activities with the Cisco equipment. BCIT Flexible Learning offers Cisco CCNA training in three sequential courses:
The three courses above comprise the training for CCNA. Each course is 72-hours duration, 6-hours per week delivery. Please note: this training does not include the CCNA examination for certification.
To obtain a CCNA certification, a student must write an industry exam. This exam is hosted by VUE testing centers.
Students who have a valid CCNA certification, or have graduated from the Cisco Networking Level-3 are eligible to continue at BCIT in Cisco CCNP training.
BCIT Flexible Learning offers CCNP training in two sequential courses:
- CITX 3063 – Cisco Enterprise Core Networking (ENCOR)
- CITX 3064 – Enterprise Advanced Routing and Services
Each course is 72-hours duration, 6-hours per week. Please note: this training does not include the CCNP certification exam. To obtain CCNP certification, a student must pass two industry certification exams plus possess a valid CCNA certification.
