BEng and ECET Diploma Common First Year

The Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology (ECET) diploma programs and the Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical Engineering all share the same first year (level 1 and level 2) courses. Therefore, please submit your application to level 1 Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology.

Graduates from the diploma program who meet the entrance requirements may choose to continue in the BCIT Flexible Learning (formerly Part-time Studies) Bachelor of Technology, Electronics degree program.

Entrance Requirements

Applicants must meet all entrance requirements and will be accepted on a first qualified basis, as long as space remains. To find out if the courses you have taken meet the entrance requirements, please submit an online application and the Admissions department will assess it. Assessments are not done by the program area.
