Parking lots
- Staff parking areas accommodate faculty and staff. These Staff lots are numbered.
- Public/Student/Visitor parking areas accommodate students and the general public. These Public/Student/Visitor lots are lettered.
- Hourly parking areas accommodate any visitor to campus wanting flexible hourly options. These Hourly lots start with the letter V.
- Pay Stations are marked on the map and accept credit card payment only. There is no cash or combo card option. Note: The pay station at CARI is located inside the campus lobby

Burnaby designated parking areas
These Staff lots are Numbered and available for all BCIT Staff & Faculty. Refer to the Map to see their locations on campus.
- Designated lots: 5, 7, 8, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 27, 28, 29
Lot exceptions and restrictions
- Staff parking lots are restricted to BCIT Staff during the day, Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Staff lots are open to Students/Public after 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and on weekends with the exception of lots 8, 24, 26 and 29 which are restricted to Staff 24/7.
- For staff parking rate inquiries, please contact the parking office.
Student parking areas include students and the general public. These Student lots are Lettered, see below. Refer to the Maps to see their locations on campus.
Designated lots: A, B, D, E, F, G, J, K, L, M, N, Q, S, and T.
Student e-permits and Public / Visitor pay station receipts and can be transferred from any valid student parking lot to a second lot on the same validation date.

Payment options
The Concord CTRL platform is the one stop shop for students to purchase discounted parking passes based on a rate of $6.50 per day. The Concord CTRL platform is accessed using your BCIT email and password and brings all your existing parking permit options into one portal.
Purchase weekly, and monthly parking (up to 4 months) or Flex-Pass (10 or 20-pack). Refunds are not provided for holidays or absences.
Economy Lot L
Lot L is an economy lot with a $5.50 daily rate. Spaces in this lot are on a strictly on a first come first served basis with payment at the local pay station or via the QR code in the Lot (no pre-purchase).
An Economy ticket purchased at this pay station is only to be used for the economy Lot L.

Contractor / Vendor parking permit
Your BCIT liaison/project coordinator may provide additional options for parking at the Burnaby campus. Please contact them for more details.
Otherwise parking will be available at all designated public / visitor locations.
Drop off zones
- Vehicles are permitted a maximum 15-minute stop/park time.
- The new pick-up and drop-off location is on White avenue, west of SW01. These new stalls will be clearly identified with parking signage.
Located between SE14 and SE16 it is the ideal pick up and drop off zone for buses. Safety is our priority so please drive slowly around buildings and give pedestrians the right of way.
Parking penalties
Concord penalties apply to all Concord-managed lots. On the 3rd outstanding offence, you will be ticketed and towed. If you have grounds to appeal a parking penalty, present your appeal to Concord. To prevent possible violations, please make sure that your license plate is visible at all times.
- First offence $85.00 fine ($65.00 if paid within seven days).
- Second offence $85.00 fine ($65.00 if paid within seven days).
- The third offence is an $85.00 fine ($65.00 if paid within seven days), and the vehicle is towed at the owner’s expense if the previous ticket is unpaid.
