If you will not receive your funding before your Tuition Fee Deferral expires, it is important to request an extension. If a fee deferral expires and your fees are not paid, you may be de-registered from your program and/or courses, and a hold will be placed on your account.

  1. To request an extension of your Tuition Fee Deferral, submit the Tuition Fee Deferral Form. On the form, make sure to explain why the extension is needed and how much additional time you need to make your payment.
  2. Your application will be reviewed within 5 business days. You can check your application status via Financial Self Service.
    • The “Web Application” section will show the application status
    • If your application is approved, the “Commitments” tab will show your approved fee deferral amount and fee deferral expiry date (which is your new payment due date)
