Marine training at the BCIT Marine Campus combines classroom learning with hands on experience to work aboard vessels ranging from tankers, ferries, bulk carriers, tugs, cargo and offshore supply vessels. Bridge Watch Rating Enhanced (E-BWR)
Receive entry-level knowledge in seamanship to prepare you for a career at sea working on deck. Women and Indigenous learners are eligible for fully subsidized tuition for the E-BWR program
Marine Engineering Diploma
Get on the path to become the Chief Engineer of the world’s largest ships. Learn to operate and maintain ships propulsion plants and auxiliary systems.
Nautical Sciences Diploma
Become the Captain of your own ship. Studies focus on navigation, seamanship, cargo operations, and ship safety.
