BCIT Alumni Social & Vancouver Football Club Game

BCIT Alumni and their guests are invited to the BCIT Alumni Social & Vancouver Football Club Game!
Enjoy a meal while swapping stories from your BCIT days, learn the latest from the Fraser Valley Alumni Ambassador, Jack Davidson along with former BCIT student, Beau Chevalier, and his experience serving at the World Cup in Qatar, and shop for some BCIT swag!
Detailed agenda:
1:15 pm: Registration, refreshments, and activities open
1:45 pm: Welcome remarks and presentation
2:00 pm: Networking, refreshments, and activities continue
2:20 pm: Prize draw winner announcement
2:30 pm: Head out to the field for the VFC game
3 – 5 pm: Match between VFC and the Forge FC!
Price: Early bird tickets purchased before Sept 9 are $15 + fee. Tickets purchased after Sept 9 are $20 + fee. Registration is required as space is limited.
Each ticket covers one drink, a hamburger or hotdog, fries, and a premium centre seat at the VFC game —a $75+ value! If you plan to bring a guest(s), please purchase their ticket(s) as well.
Prize Draw: Enter to win 1 of 2 $150 prize packs with the blue ticket you’ll receive at the Alumni Social registration table.
Late Arrivals: If you arrive between 2:30 pm – 4 pm, please collect your purchased tickets at the VFC black tent outside the soccer field.
Did you know? The Vancouver Football Club, Lower Mainland’s newest professional soccer team, plays in the Canadian Premier League. VFC actively supports charities like Canucks Autism, Pink Shirt Days, Big Brother Big Sisters, and TeamUp. For every Pink Away Shirt sold, $5 is donated to Pink Shirt Days to fight bullying. Their “Net Positive Society” foundation, funded by the 50/50 draw proceeds, supports local youth soccer through The Young Eagles program.
They’ve participated in over 41 community events this season, including the Big Brother Big Sister Charity Golf Tournament, TeamUp Boot Drive and Soccer Camp, and Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Event. VFC also visits schools weekly, where the players engage with kids, join PE classes, and share soccer skills.
