Course Overview
The construction industry uses statistical techniques to analyze business and engineering data. Topics include summarizing data; probability; the normal curve; sampling distribution; hypothesis testing; and linear regression and correlation. Upon successful completion, individuals will be able to intelligently read and interpret statistical material and use appropriate tools to perform various statistical calculations.

- This class will have two additional Saturday morning Labs. Dates of the labs will be posted by instructor in the Learning Hub once course has opened up. Required Textbook: Elementary Statistics using Excel. (Mario Triola) Available at the BCIT bookstore. Students must be proficient in Excel and know basic accounting.
