Course Overview
This course is designed to prepare students for the Restricted Operators Certificate – Aeronautical (ROC-A) theory and practical examinations. Students will learn about regulations, operating procedures, and emergency communications used in the Aeronautical service. The practice scenarios, assignments, and video provided will give students the skills needed to be successful in the theory and practical examinations. Upon completion of this course, students will be awarded the ROC-A, Radio License.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Demonstrate the safe operation of radiotelephone equipment
- Demonstrate a general knowledge of radiotelephone operating procedures and of international regulations applicable to the aeronautical service, specifically those regulations relating to the safety of life
- Demonstrate a general knowledge of the Radiocommunication Act and the regulations made thereunder
