Course details
Presents an overview of the design process for creating garden layouts and planning plans with an emphasis on student initiated projects. Of interest to homeowners and gardeners who wish to expand their design fluency and to landscape contractors wishing to expand their range of services. This course may be eligible for students to receive funding through the StrongerBC Future Skills Grant at www.bcit.ca/financial-aid/strongerbc-future-skills-grant. Students register themselves into the course, then apply for the StrongerBC Future Skills Grant to cover payment, if eligible.

There will be no class May 18 long weekend. Students are to select a residential landscape site in need of some redevelopment, for use as a subject during the course. Single family property preferred. Access to the site is required, so obtain permission to use it from the owner. Students are to come to the first class with a subject site.
