Course Overview
This course provides the student with the knowledge and understanding of pacemaker/ICD case study analysis. The purpose of this course is to provide the student with an introduction to problem solving pacemaker, ICD and CRT devices. This course will further develop your skills in patient assessment, device assessment and device programming.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Demonstrate problem solving techniques as they apply to complex cardiac devices.
- Interpret complex rhythm strips.
- Identify the appropriate and inappropriate response of cardiac devices to intrinsic rhythms/arrhythmias.
- Demonstrate knowledge of device assessment.
- Demonstrate knowledge of device programming.
- Demonstrate knowledge of patient monitoring.
