Course Overview
This course investigates economic analysis, focusing on fundamentals of markets, supply and demand, consumer and producer behaviour, and monopoly and competition. Optional areas of business application may explore labour markets, government intervention and environmental regulation. Prepares students to identify and evaluate the economic considerations they will undoubtedly encounter in business.

This is an asynchronous online course supplemented with recorded videos of course content. This course requires all students to write both midterms as well as the final exam in person at the above dates/times/locations. Students must have an e-mail address and access to a computer capable of downloading basic documents. Students are not required to be online at a specific time of the day; however, they are required to submit all open book assignments/quizzes on their due dates. Students must have a textbook with MyEconLab (or etext with MyEconLab) by first day of class. This course is not self-paced. It contains weekly open book assignments/quizzes.
