Lean Six Sigma is a globally recognized approach that combines Six Sigma concepts and tools to the Lean manufacturing /Lean enterprise philosophy, striving to eliminate waste of physical resources, time, effort, and talent, while assuring quality in production and organizational processes. Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt is the starting point of Six Sigma qualifications and is aimed at those who are new to the world of Six Sigma and are keen on developing basic knowledge about the methodology. This is an entry-level certification for professionals who are looking to get an overview of Six Sigma and the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) process. The knowledge gained through this certification helps the workforce in understanding the concepts and potential of Six Sigma tools and process improvement methodologies within the enterprise. This course follows the Body of Knowledge (BOK) of the International Association of Six Sigma Certifications (IASSC). Certification A grade of 60% is required to pass this course and obtain the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification. Upon successful completion of the certification requirements, a formal certificate confirming that the student has achieved the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt practitioner level will be issued within 3 weeks.
