Course Overview
This course concentrates on using and modifying commercial and/or freeware JavaScript routines to enhance the content of Web pages. To fully explore how JavaScript scripts work and how they may be modified, students will be asked to create JavaScript routines using manual coding.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Describe the basic structure of a JavaScript
- List some of the properties of JavaScripts
- List JavaScript operations
- Describe how to make JavaScript statements
- Demonstrate window handling
- Employ built-in objects and properties using the DOM in Web pages
- Employ some of the Math functions in Web pages
- Create JavaScript rollovers and use other JavaScript imaging techniques in Web pages
- Employ JavaScript functions in a forms Environment

- This course will be delivered entirely online, however, is an asynchronous course which does not require that you meet each week at a specific time. You will be expected to meet assignment deadlines according to the schedule on the course outline and directions of the instructor.
