Course Overview
This course builds on FSCT 8303 Geographic Profiling 1. This is a computer lab based course that focuses on using geographic profiling techniques applied to actual cases in property crime investigation. Emphasis is on analysis, jeopardy surface, peak geoprofile, scenario and strategy development and final report preparation.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, the student will be able to:
- Explain geographic profiling techniques for retrospective case analysis.
- Import crime and suspect data from record management systems or other external databases.
- Apply RIGEL Analyst Geographic Profiling System for case analysis.
- Use Linkage analysis creating a profile showing jeopardy surfaces and peak geoprofile area.
- Conduct scenario creation and prioritization of suspects.
- Analyse and interpret geoprofile findings.
- Create a final report and presentation for court purposes.
