Course Overview
The course explores foundational principles in human anatomy and physiology. The focus of the course is to build on the biology knowledge students acquire in grade 12 and bridge that knowledge to the level of post-secondary human anatomy and physiology. The course investigates all body systems and equips students with foundational knowledge equivalent to what all health practitioners learn at a post-secondary level. Although there is no formal lab built into this course, students have the opportunity to interact with some lab-based activities and anatomy models. The course is widely accepted as a biology pre-requisite by various programs in the school of health.
