Course Overview
Covers estimating of wood frame structure, steel structure, and above grade concrete structure with a focus on multi-family residential and small commercial projects. Introduces Planswift Estimating Software** Topics include: various take-off procedures to create an estimate and prepare and print a variety of estimating reports. All students must have Completed BLDT 1041 prior to this course - NO EXCEPTIONS.

Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- Interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Measure/takeoff wood, steel and concrete structures and compile industry-standard quantity sheets.
- Price measured quantities by using a systematic approach and recapitulation sheets.
- Use Planswift Estimating Software for takeoff, pricing and report/summary creation.
