Course Overview
This intensive course is intended for applicants to the Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Systems. The course covers two major topics: Object Oriented Analysis and Design and Object Oriented Programming using C++. The materials will be presented in an integrated approach. The goal of the course is to introduce and train the students with the Object-Oriented thought process, and allow the students to apply object-oriented analysis and design concepts into actual programming projects. The Unified Modeling Language (UML) will be utilized to document the design process. Topics include: C++ Fundamentals, Object Oriented programming in C++, Coding Standards, C++ Templates, Introduction to Design Patterns, and Object Oriented Analysis and Design.
