Course Overview
The objective of this course is to give students the opportunity to cultivate meaningful professional experiences in the finance industry. Through a series of guest lectures, field trips, presentations, research, and informational interviews, students will gain an understanding of the variety of careers in the finance profession and will improve their written and verbal communication skills. Topics may include: networking in a professional setting, guest lectures/meetings with industry professionals, interview skills, resume preparation and career skills in the finance profession. Work‐integrated learning opportunities can be structured in a wide variety of ways, and the development of such opportunities could include relevant experience students acquired while working either full‐time or part‐time while studying.

- Completion of Level 3 of either the Finance or Financial Planning diploma program.
