This course will help you, an instructor, to use the newest best practices in teaching live virtual classes, with the aim to maximize student engagement, satisfaction, and learning. Throughout this course you will examine your assumptions about virtual teaching, and proceed through a series of engaging, self-paced, short video sessions with supplementary documents and exercises. You will finish the course with a new frame through which to consider virtual teaching, an understanding of fundamental best teaching principles, and practical new tactics to apply immediately in your virtual classes. The course is suited for any instructor who teaches live virtual class and wants to improve student engagement.
