Course details

​Strengthen your fundamental understanding of suspension system theory, operation and testing. This course is suitable for professional technicians, apprentices, and enthusiasts. Not all concepts will be covered during scheduled class / shop time as this course incorporates an online learning resource requiring students to complete an additional 5-10 hours knowledge development per week.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Describe different types of frame, unibody and suspension configurations and components.
  • Inspect frame, unibody, and suspension components.
  • Understand processes required to safely service suspension systems.
  • Develop diagnostic skills necessary to diagnose suspension systems.
