Who can benefit from accessibility services?
If you have any medical diagnosis or disability that creates barriers to accessing education or demonstrating your knowledge and ability, you may be eligible for academic accommodations and supports to address your particular challenges. Diagnoses commonly supported by Accessibility Services include, but are not limited to:
- Mental health conditions: depression, anxiety disorders, or bipolar disorder.
- Neurological disabilities: attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities, head injuries, and autism spectrum disorder.
- Chronic health conditions: arthritis, chronic pain, Crohn’s disease, or migraines.
- Physical or sensory disabilities: visual impairment, hearing loss, or mobility impairments.
