Ashleigh Hyland is a fully bilingual graduate from the University of Ottawa, holding an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Her dedication to advancing systemic change has been exemplified through her role as the Program Manager at CAPSA. Ashleigh is an esteemed expert and educator on the impacts of substance use stigma, the Principle of Substance Use Health, and person-first language. In her role, she strategically leads the successful delivery of CAPSA’s programs and services, transforming stigma into compassion, implementing strengths-based policies and practices, and advocating for equity in Substance Use Health.
