Important Note on Applications

ICES Important Notice

MAIL STRIKE

As of Friday, November 15, 2024, Canada Post, the corporation responsible for the shipment of items by postal mail in Canada has begun strike action. This will result in service disruptions and delayed delivery of mail and packages. During this time,  ICES will not send any reports or documents by mail until the labour dispute is resolved.  Applicants who have requested delivery of reports and/or documents by regular mail have the option to request delivery by courier or have the package held at ICES until the dispute is resolved. To ensure the timely arrival of your documents and report, ICES strongly recommends that documents be shipped to our office by courier and that you select return delivery of your report by courier.

Please continue to apply, either online or by mail. BCIT will not be accepting ICES applications or payments in person, and only drop-off service will be offered (within regular scheduled hours) for any applicants who arrive in person. Student Information and Enrollment Services is available from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Due to limited staffing levels, we will continue to operate online only.

ICES will continue to offer all services by email and online only. No phone service is currently available.

Please note, all requirements remain in place without exception. If official documents are required for the type of assessment you wish to apply for, please ensure the requirements can be met prior to submitting an application.

The International Credential Evaluation Service (ICES) is the provincially mandated credential evaluation service in British Columbia. We are also a member of the Alliance of Credential Evaluation Services of Canada (ACESC).
