Service notice
BCIT is offering limited in-person ICES services. Please continue to apply either online or by mail. BCIT will not be accepting ICES applications or payments in person and only drop off service (drop box) will be offered for any applicants who arrive in person. Student Information and Enrollment Services is available 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. ICES will continue to offer all services by email and online only. No phone service is currently available.
Please note our requirements remain in place without exception. If official documents are required for the type of assessment you wish to apply for, please ensure the requirements can be met prior to submitting an application.
Disrupted mail and courier service
Effective immediately, all outgoing mail and courier services to Russia and Haiti have been suspended. If you have selected your completed report to be sent to an address in either of these countries, please contact ICES to provide an alternate address. Canada Post has also suspended all mail services to Syria. Please see this notification of the OFAC trade embargo for more information.

- Courier service is also impacted. In some cases it has been suspended completely and in other cases there are severe delays. For Domestic courier, please see the UPS services alerts. For International courier, please see the DHL service alerts. ICES is unable to provide estimated delivery times.
International courier is suspended to the following countries:
- Belarus
- Cuba
- Haiti
- Iran
- Kosovo
- Kyrgyzstan
- North Korea
- Russia
- Somalia
- Sudan
- Syria
- Turkmenistan
If you have applied and your return address is to one of the above countries, we will require an alternate address for delivery. Please contact ICES immediately.
