Online Info Session for Financial Essentials for Trades Workers

August 15 from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm PDT

This course covers all the basics of how to make the most of your career as a trades worker and to come out ahead financially. Taking this course will allow you to begin to take the necessary steps to access the many qualified grants available, manage your money and debt wisely, save for the future, and understand your financial rights. This course has content for both apprentices and certified trades workers. Take advantage of the many incentives offered to trades workers and empower yourself!

The first 50 registrants for the October intake of Financial Essentials for Trades Workers will have fully funded tuition.

This course will be co-instructed by Anne Lee and Anna Lary. Anne is a Chartered Professional Accountant, who also has a Master of Professional Accounting and a Bachelor of Education. Her career has focused on tax specialty work, incorporating digital tax technology experiences, and managing global innovation projects in Canada, Oceania, and Asia-Pacific regions for one of the Big4 accounting firms. Anna is a Master Electrician and has a Master of Education specializing in Curriculum and Instruction.

The program is funded through the support of the Rideau Hall Foundation’s Catapult Canada program. Find out your eligibility for a tuition subsidy.
