Course Overview
This course will continue from ABOD 1101 as the second course of a two-part program leading to a BCIT Microcredential and Statement of Completion in Automotive Collision Estimating. Content will include: advanced vehicle systems, insurance regulations, collision damage diagnosis and customer service. An emphasis will be placed on creating estimates using collision estimating software platforms such as Mitchell and other related software.

- Describe flat rate times and sequencing
- Describe the refinishing process
- Identify damage to Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
- Identify damage to hybrid, electric and fuel cell vehicles
- Demonstrate effective estimate writing using Mitchell software
