The BCIT Retirees’ Association is a member funded association, governed by an approved set of bylaws. The Association is guided by an elected board consisting of a minimum of seven and a maximum of 15 directors, and includes the following positions:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Past President
  • Directors at Large

Board volunteers may also be appointed at the discretion of the board.

To be eligible to serve, board members must be active members of the BCITRA. Directors (excluding Past President) are elected yearly at an Annual General Meeting. The term of office for elected members commences upon adjournment of that AGM.
