Course Overview
This course will introduce students to forensic issues related to preserving and analyzing mobile devices. Students will learn about mobile technology and its implementations in today's environment. The course will introduce the students to the legal aspects of working with mobile devices, the various types of information available to the examiner and will present an overview of modern mobile acquisition and analysis tools.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Apply sound mobile device seizure procedures.
- Conduct in-depth cell phone analysis of iOS and Android systems.
- Perform mobile extraction and data analysis using forensic software.
- Identify cloud issues: techniques and approaches for accessing cloud data and artifacts.
- Perform technical documentation: Taking notes, creating and submitting a full forensic report describing all the steps taken during the analysis.
