Course Overview
This course takes a case-based approach to prepare learners to become participants in academic appeals in the post-secondary sector through an understanding of governance legislation, policy, principles of Natural Justice, and an understanding of administrative tribunal proceedings. As a group, participants will focus on proactive quality in education as an appeal prevention measure. The course is delivered online over a period of 4 weeks during which learners will participate in a series of online discussions. There will be one real-time desktop conference in the final week and a group role play activity. Technical Requirements: A web enabled computer with a headset and microphone.
